Zoe’s Adoption: A Story of God’s Provision

Adoption stories often carry the unmistakable fingerprints of God.

Zoe’s adoption is one of them.

Her arrival was unexpected. Her family wasn’t financially prepared for another adoption, yet God was already at work, orchestrating every detail.

Woven Together by Grace

This wasn’t their first yes. Previously, in 2017, God brought them Gemma, their oldest daughter, through adoption. Later, two biological sons joined the family.

So they assumed their table was full—until Gemma’s birth mom reached out again.

She was expecting another baby girl.
Would they welcome her, too?

“We could not believe that God planned this, but we were ready to follow His leading.”

As a result: two sisters, side by side, two stories, now one through Zoe’s adoption. A family knit together by the deliberate, tender hand of God.

Carried by Community

Like many families called to adopt, the cost felt overwhelming. But what seemed impossible became possible through the Body of Christ.

“Lifesong greatly aided us with the adoption funding, which removed a huge financial burden from our backs. We loved the Matching Grant because it also helped our friends and family feel like they were making an even bigger contribution since it was matched! We love how it invited others into the process and allowed them to be part of God’s plan to bring Zoe home!”

Every gift was multiplied.
Every prayer mattered.

And through it all, the financial burden was lifted.

A Testimony to God’s Faithfulness.

“Having the girls together has been a tremendous blessing.”

So today, Gemma and Zoe are sisters together, growing up alongside their brothers in a home built on God’s kindness. Their story is living proof that He sees, He provides, and He finishes what He starts.

Because every child deserves the safety of belonging. And, whenever possible, every sibling should have the gift of togetherness. And every family who says yes should be met with God’s provision through His people.

God is faithful. Always faithful.
